LIST AVAILABLE NOW
The Green Lake School Site Council would like to ensure that all our students have supplies to start
the new school year. If you are able to send extra supplies for students in need, we would
greatly appreciate your generosity. You may drop off your donations in our school office
beginning August 13.

2007-2008 school year class lists will be posted at the school on
August 30th.
AUGUST 30: END OF SUMMER BASH/PARENTS NIGHT OUT!
Parents Night Out is a great way to support our school --
Celebrate back to school by dining out in the 'hood at
Mona's,
Latona Pub,
Krittika,
or
Cafe Lulu.
Each of these fantastic restaurants will donate a portion of their
profits from the evening back to Green Lake School's Multi-arts program.
Our own GLSA will be providing FREE childcare from 6:30-9:00 pm that night, so your kids can see their friends, too.
Please contact them in person to sign your school-aged child up, but

Highlights
from the 2006-2007 School Year
Auction 2007
was a HUGE Success! Thank you Auction Committee, Parents and Community! - Thanks to the generosity of our audience and our donors, and careful budgeting by our auction committee, we raised $67,000! This money makes a huge difference in what we can provide our children--swimming, music, arts education, and extra classroom support. A gi-normous "Hurrah!" for the Auction team: Karen Blankenship, Hilary Dahlstrom, Sara Mackenzie, Kate Burdick, Mary Jewett and Lanny Shuman.
School Walkathon Oct. 20th - After a cold, dreary day of rain, the skies cleared and the sun greeted us for the 2006 Green Lake Walk-a-thon. The kids worked hard, walking, running, and pulling Mrs. Talmadge on her rollerblades. Thank you to the many, many parents who made time to come cheer the kids on. This is always a joyous event. Now it is time to collect those pledges.
