- [Apr 22] The Auction Catalog is out!
The Auction is set for Saturday, April 26th. Get prepared by reading through the 2008 Auction Catalog. Lots of great items available this year. Any questions about the catalog or the auction should be directed to the Auction Committee -- Hilary Dahlstrom and Kate Burdick.
Call/email your friends. Talk to chatty veterans in the front hall. The Auction is a great event and an important fundraiser. It directly benefits ALL OF OUR CHILDREN!!!! The proceeds from this auction go to hiring another teacher for the '08-'09 school year TO REDUCE CLASS SIZES!!!!!!!!
- [Mar 18] Science Fair and School-Wide Open House
The Science Fair and School-Wide Open House is next week on Thursday 3/27, 6:30-8:00. It is always fun and the student projects are interesting and creative.
Student entry forms are due this Thursday, March 20. These help us plan the tables, electricity, etc. Last minute entries are certainly accepted. We want to have as many people take part as possible. Please come to the event, even if your student is not presenting!
In addition to the student displays, there will be exhibits by the Seattle Audubon society and the UW Aeronautics and Astronautics Program. They will be in the gym, so please be aware the gym will not be available for free play.
We want to show our school spirit at the Open House, so please have your child wear their Green Lake t-shirt. T-shirts will also be on sale that night.
Please contact me if you have questions or would like to volunteer to help set up, break down or make baked goods for this fun event.
